After a lengthy correspondence Mrs. M. ————  was able to acquire a fascinating sculpture for her personal enjoyment. It reflects her love of the stars as well as her passion for travel. Created by the artist Martha Glowacki, Investigating the Sky: A Philosophical Table, rests in the back corner of her office. See if you can find Orion and Pegasus and perhaps ask Mrs. M. ————  about the poetic possibilities of this celestial composition.

Today Mrs. M. ———— 's Cabinet held its first Salon of the season for a group of dignified visitors. In Mrs. M. ———— 's unfortunate absence, the Chipstone Curator was pressed into service to explain the story of the Cabinet—and what it can tell us about the practice of history—to her guests.

Mrs. M. ———— 's artistic interior reflects the latest cosmopolitan style of her age. It draws inspiration from Asia, Europe, and the Near East. She was particularly fond of the interior of the Isaac Bell House in Newport, Rhode Island. It is a lovely home, designed by the firm McKim, Mead and White. You may visit her favorite home (second only to her own, of course), if you wish.
